
Adam Zemke
For over a decade, Adam has been working to improve public policy in Michigan, with a special focus on improving educational opportunities for all of Michigan’s children. First starting out in elected office in 2013 as state Representative for Michigan’s 55th House District, Adam served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives, serving as the Chair of the House Democratic Campaign Committee and, subsequently, Chair of the Caucus. After leaving elected office in 2019, he managed Ford Motor Company’s STEAM education investments, served as President of the education reform coalition Launch Michigan, and currently serves as Managing Partner of the public policy firm 1837 Partners and as President of Scooter Company; a multi-location micromobility business. A proud Michigan State University alumnus with Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Adam serves as Vice Chair of the Governor’s MiSTEM Council. He lives in his hometown of Ann Arbor with his wife Kelly and their cats.
